This (Chinese) proverb could as well be Tanzanian.

The daily problems are as many that one could despair. But for one single step today our strength will still sufficient. Especially when you are not alone on the road.

"Hatua" means "step".

We accompany people in Tanzania doing one step which they see as their next objective.

We support them with small, mostly single amounts, so that we donīt become mutually dependant.

We have no running costs and further the own initiative of ordinary people.

We are no legal society and donīt hand out donation receipts.

We care however that the donations go directly and without reduction to the people.
